Iris Kotzamani

Educational Programs

Iris Kotzamani, is the officer of the organization’s educational programs, and is a PhD candidate at Harokopio University, where by following anthropological approaches she examines, in the context of environmental crisis cases of social resilience and adaptability though local initiatives in Greece, traditional practices and alternative governance systems. She holds a MSc with Distinction in Applied Geography and Spatial Planning, specializing on Spatial Policies and Development in Europe, from Harokopio University, and her Master’s Thesis examined the dynamics of Water Commons through the case study of the local community of Stagiates (Pelion, Greece). She also holds a BA with Distinction in Social Anthropology from the Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences. Iris is passionate about photography, literature and exploring nature.
