Serge, Senior Director, Regional Head of Asset Management – Housing Sector – Mid-Atlantic USA has over 25 years of experience in the Real Estate Investment Management industry; he is responsible for the Asset Management of Multi-Family investments located in the Mid-Atlantic Region of the USA. Serge is also the founder of the Fondation Josita Kavege, Inc. A US 501(c) (3) not-for-profit organization which invests in infrastructure to help reduce the maternal mortality rate and improve early childhood education. The foundation has been active in West Africa where it built a maternity hospital and kindergarten classrooms, while financially supporting selective local grassroots NGOs acting the childhood education arena. Serge’s other passion is long distance running; after discovering the joy of running at the age of 50, he has run, to date, 14 Marathons and 7 Half-Marathons, and ambitions running a marathon in all 50 US States and at least a 10K in several African countries. Serge was born and raised in Abidjan (Ivory Coast) from parents who immigrated from Togo, before immigrating himself to the United States of America in pursuit of higher education. He now resides in the USA with his wife and four children. Serge holds a License Degree from the University of Ivory Coast, a B.S. in Accounting from Edgewood College, an M.S. in Accounting and Finance from the University of Maryland UC, and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Real Estate Finance and Development from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte.
