Evan Sekeris

Evan is a Senior Vice President and Senior Economist at the Bank Policy Institute. He leads research on banking, financial stability, and regulatory policy, with a focus on making complex economic issues accessible to policymakers, industry leaders, and the public. Before joining BPI, Evan held senior leadership roles at Capital One, MUFG, PNC, Oliver Wyman, and the Federal Reserve, where he helped shape approaches to stress testing, risk management, and regulatory oversight. His work has been widely published in academic journals and industry volumes, bridging rigorous economic research with practical policy insights. Evan earned his Ph.D. in Economics from UCLA and holds additional degrees in economics from Université Catholique de Louvain in Belgium.
