Director’s Greeting

Welcome to the Heritage Management Organization

Welcome to the pages of the Heritage Management Organization. HERITΛGE aims to promote good practice in the management of Heritage around the world, through education and research. Established in 2008 with start-up funding from Lloyd Cotsen, HERITΛGE is celebrating 16 years this year with an expansion of its projects and the scholarships it offers for heritage managers from around the world. Thanks to our supporters and members the Organization has become a catalyst for change, bringing partners from around the world together and creating research or education programs that are essential for their heritage projects worldwide. So far we have trained around 3.000 current and future heritage managers from more than 120 countries in various aspects of cultural resource management, leveraging the expertise of experts, volunteers, partner organizations, members and supporters from around the world. The main pillars of our work are transparency, collaboration and sustainability. Should you want to partner, collaborate, become a member or participate in one of our programs do not hesitate to contact us.

We hope to hear from you soon!

Dr. Evangelos Kyriakidis
