The Initiative for Heritage Conservation will award one research studentship grant to a conservator/conservation scientist at the doctoral level, to conduct research regarding the documentation of the building elements, the damage assessment and the restoration and preservation study of the Minoan second order center of Sklavokampos, in the region of Malevyzi, Crete, Greece. The value of the scholarship will be maximum €3500
 
Important factors for the selection of candidate are: professional qualifications, a strong background in physical sciences, especially chemistry and materials science, an experience on cultural heritage studies, as well as a record of service to the field of architectural restoration and preservation, preferably Minoan. An experience in the archaeometry of inorganic materials from the same period is desirable.
