Iziko Museums of South Africa are a collection of 11 sites which seek to celebrate the heritage of South Africa while generating new cultural legacies for future generations.

The Iziko Education Department provides educational services including outreach programmes within these with The Iziko Mobile Museum (museum on wheels) operating for people in remote areas, and the Discovery room providing a space for learners to engage with the objects. This project aims to build on these initiatives and further cater to people with special needs by upgrading the Discovery room as well as the mobile museum. Procuring assistive technology and products, providing further training and generating braille labels and prints will contribute towards this.
