This part of the program seeks to strengthen the protection, safeguarding, promotion, and sustainable use of local heritage by prioritizing projects with strong local relevance, long-term impact, and capacity-building potential. The grants form part of a broader heritage capacity development framework implemented by HERITΛGE in Mexico.
