Asimina Liberi is a heritage professional with expertise in cultural programming, data management, and community engagement. She holds a BA in Social Anthropology from Panteion University of Athens and an MA in Heritage Management, jointly awarded by the Athens University of Economics and Business and the University of Kent. With experience across diverse sectors, she has developed a versatile skill set that blends administrative coordination, oversight of data systems, and programmatic support. In her current role as Mapping Coordinator, she develops and maintains systems supporting strategic goals, coordinating a competence and training needs mapping that forms the basis of an emerging global observatory for the heritage sector. Additionally, she assists the Africa Re-granting Team in coordinating a series of networking events designed to strengthen connections and encourage collaboration among grantees across the continent. Her deep interest in archaeology and mythology led her to launch Myths Lab in 2017, a non-formal cultural education initiative in her hometown of Thebes, connecting children to their heritage through guided tours, architectural model-making, and interactive storytelling.
