Linda C. Hartley

Linda C. Hartley is principal of H2Growth Strategies, providing counsel on planning, development and governance to improve performance, increase revenues, and create lasting social impact. With a team of eight specialists, H2Growth has partnered with 100+ nonprofits to raise more than $1.5 billion. Prior to her consulting practice, Hartley served as Vice President of External Affairs at The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, responsible for raising $8 million annually. She held senior development and campaign positions at Bard College, Columbia University, New School, and New York Public Library. For 12 years she taught as an adjunct faculty member at the NYU Heyman Center for Philanthropy and Fundraising, and for 6 years she co-chaired/produced the regional nonprofit Leadership Summits held at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, built on the site of the 1969 Woodstock Festival. Most recently, H2Growth produced Seattle’s first summit on racial and economic equity. Hartley is the co-founder of the Equal Pay Coalition of NYC, and currently serves on the boards of both PowHer NY, a coalition of 100 women’s organizations advancing economic equality in New York State, and HERITΛGE, an international nonprofit that trains professionals and organizations across the globe, transforming the world’s environmental and cultural heritage assets into dynamic sources of learning, community identity, and sustainable economic development. Hartley is the co-author of the book, Big Impact: Insights & Strategies From America’s Non-Profit Leaders.
