Nikos Mandrekas is a certified Data Protection Officer (DPO) by the Human Resources Certification Body ACTA - and a certified Information Security Management Systems Lead Auditor ISO 27001:2022 by CQI / IRCA. He has significant professional experience as Data Protection Officer DPO, as well as extensive experience in GDPR consulting projects in both the Public and Private Sector. He holds a degree from the Department of Agriculture of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a Master's degree from the Hellenic Open University on "Open and Distance Education". His experience also includes Internet application development projects, IT studies and consulting support for both private sector companies and public sector organisations in the framework of European and national projects. He has also participated in projects for the installation of management systems such as ISO 9001:2015, Quality Systems, ISO/IEC 27001:2013 as well as ISO/IEC 27701:2019 Information Security and Privacy Management Systems.
