The Engaging Communities Winter School is a fully online, advanced training program designed to provide a more comprehensive and practice-oriented learning experience than our 4-day Online Workshop, while remaining accessible to those unable to attend the in-person Summer School.
Building on the core theoretical foundations shared across all our training formats, the Winter School introduces participants to key methodological approaches and practical tools, such as qualitative interviewing and fieldwork preparation through an extended and structured online format.
While it offers fewer hands-on opportunities than the Summer School, the Winter School is intentionally designed to enrich participants’ understanding of community engagement in a flexible, accessible, and academically rigorous format. It is ideal for professionals, researchers, and students seeking deeper engagement with the subject matter without the need for international travel.
HERITΛGE provides scholarships to most participants in its training programmes. These scholarships can cover up to 90% of the cost of attendance, depending on the circumstances of the participants and the availability of funding. Read more on Fees & Scholarships.
